Casual Fluffies V 0.3 Finds

Yo, this is the place to report any bugs you find, slap 'em in the comment sections and provide gifs, pictures, or video when possible. That is so I or Casdev can attempt to replicate the issue and hopefully narrow down the cause.

I'll keep a list here.

Casual Dev, if you're reasonably sure you fixed something in the list for the next build, tell me in the comment section and I'll cross it out.

Bug list
Slip and Slide
-Fluffies slide across the ground when attacking other fluffies
-Fluffies slide across the ground when mating
-Fluffies do a short slide when shitting
-Fluffies slide when anything interrupts their running animation, including stopping and laying down

Teleportation
-Fluffy males will teleport onto a mare's ass when either of them is held
-When holding a horny male, he will teleport to the mare then back to the original held position if you did not release him

Continuous action
-When mating is interrupted or ends, the male will immediately restart the action until hungry
-Thanks to immediate restarts, males have caused females to starve to death in the same pen [Needs further testing to verify]
-Thanks to immediate restarts, up to 5 males (maybe more, I was unable to keep count) will mount the same female without rest until they seek food.

Wall Hacks
-Food bowls can clip through walls
-Anything that land on the slight edge beyond a wall's hitbox can sit in the air. This includes blood and shit.

Morality degradation
-Males that are allowed to rape mares repeatedly will begin to rape younger mares and chirpies. This is a bug and not a feature because Fluffy Morality on special huggies is meant to be static, yet even fluffies that wouldn't rape a pregnant mare eventually do so if given enough time.

The Floaters are using Wall Hacks!

I've figured it out! The floating thing was bugging me because I was trying to figure out how to replicate it, and now I see it only happens on walls. Observe!

The common denominator has been found! Putting a fluffy down too close to a wall will get it stuck, which explains why it happened with my foals three times and adults only once when not trying to do this on purpose.

This V 0.2 mystery has been solved

Floaters

This bug prevents fluffies from moving properly. They're stuck in one place, if moved you can leave them hanging in the air. So far, it's only happened with foals, and I'm not exactly sure what the common denominator is yet because it's only happened three times. The first two happened on the ground, with both I couldn't move the foals at all.

This one happened on blocks.

Update: After further testing, this does not only happen with foals.

It seems that after being picked up, a fluffy may get stuck when being put down. That last gif is closer to what happened the first two times I've encountered this. The only other thing correlation is that they were placed down on poop stained tiles, but I've done that with many other fluffies with only an extreme minority running into this issue.

That's all I have to say on this matter for now in V 0.2

Don't come out yet, babbehs!

This one's pretty self-explanatory, so no sceenshots or gifs unless requested.

Using the breeding cage set up shown in an earlier post, I've noticed something funky with new normal mammahs who give birth to alicorns. When she can't run away, she gets stuck screaming about the 'munstah fluffy', which prevents the birthing animation from playing until the 'munstah' is removed. Though what does fix this without removing the baby is when she looks for something to eat (making her forget about the alicorn).

Bug? Feature? Make of this what you will.

Update: Testing this a bit more, I made a setup with two stud pens with the dam cage between them. The dam was an alicorn, the studs were both Earthies, and the food bowls were set far enough apart for everyone to eat properly. As expected, the studs screamed about the monster until they starved to death.

To note, this doesn't happen with free fluffies. An alicorn can be standing right on top of the only food source and the fluffies will run towards it, eat, then run away. I can only assume this is caused by the AI not realizing it can't run through walls.

Chop Chop!

Here's a minor bug I found while cutting away body parts.

After dissecting mommah and daddeh without it showing up, I realized this only happens when you're cutting up the body while it's upside down.

As you can see, the blood splatter goes below the ground tile.

Minor bug, but I decided to note it down anyway.

Casual Fluffies V 0.2

Wall Hacks!

Here are some things I've found while playing with V 0.2's walls.

Let's start with the simple: Floating Fluffies. Observe:

This is a relatively simple thing. Now, for context: I designed this cage to feed and house mares after they're bred. When they give birth, they're immediately separated from their foals where I can examine them and see if I should let them live or bash their tiny skulls against the ground.

Now, there's enough room for Foals to fall, but now we see the next strange problem with walls:

Every so often, a foal will walk as they're falling. That leads to them being stuck for varying amounts of time. This gap size (3 blocks long) is the only way to keep them from being stuck indefinitely. 2 blocks long would hold foals even when standing still if they're too close to the edge, only being dead center would allow them to fall.

Then there's inconsistent climbing. As you can see, that second cage design is different from the first. That's because while the first fluffy couldn't climb out (nor could any of the others), that last one managed to twice.

I'm not entirely sure why this mare can do this when I've never had it happen before, I can only assume it's because she's trying to get to the food on the ground when cages are generally side-by-side.

Now, saving the best for last, enfie neck break:

While this is entirely preventable, it's also very funny-

Being serious, mating select pairs can be lethal if you build a cage this small. Even bigger cages will result in the stallion bleeding or mare getting hurt, so I currently use a stud pen with a "gate" that's deleted once them mare's on the other side.

This has been V 0.2's wall hacks.
